Does an eSIM work in China?
Yes. This eSIM runs on China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. Coverage is strong across the eastern cities and coast, and thinner in the remote western regions, and it covers Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu and Guangzhou. It can thin out only in very remote areas.
How much data do I need in China?
Most travelers use 1 to 2GB a day in China across maps, translation and photos. A week is comfortable on 10GB. Longer trips lean to 20GB or unlimited daily. Coverage is strong across the eastern cities and thinner in the remote west.
Is the China eSIM unlimited?
